Rev.com was a forerunner with APIs, but they had reached a point where they didn't know how to achieve bigger scale. They experienced a 50% churn with new API users and needed to understand more about the developer journey and how to improve it. Osaango approached the work combining customer experience, user experience and developer experience design and evaluation methods. We also benchmarked the Rev APIs, API documentation and marketing and support material incl. SDKs to those of two competitors. The Rev team was really happy about the results, as we found many easy fixes that they were able to deliver quickly and some more fundamental things that they put on their roadmap. We also reviewed the Rev.ai service, that they launched later.
